Zero Degree Gelato is a desert loving company that provides their customers with frozen ice cream in many different flavours such as : blueberry, strawberry, chocolate, orange and so on. As a brand, they are based in the Saudi Arabia where this industry is really popular and blooming even nowadays. The reason they hired me was because of my design style and the values that they receive whilst working with me.

This brand faced a problem on how to brand themselves right and they wanted to stand out since they had a lot of competition. To goal was to make a long lasting brand in a fun, creative and welcoming way. The solution we provided was designing whole branding system in our desirable way which is attractive to our targeted customer that also stands out from the others guys while our packaging is sitting on the shelves.

Process: We started with the project by just jumping on a call where we meet each other for the first time and we discussed about the project in more detail. We also talked about the specific details such as : what are they trying to achieve, budget and the timeframe for the project to see if both parties are fit for each other. After a call, I have sent the client to answers some more questions and an invoice for the project. After that, I began working on with the research first and sketching afterwards. When sketching, I generally like to do 5-10 variations which I am happy which later I present the client with 3 final options. Client picked the final option where we had a logo icon to represent the industry, and typography around it in a fun and welcoming way. After the logo approval, we went ahead and designed a theme that can be potentially used on the packaging, collateral, social media, marketing and many other applications. When the theme was approved, we went ahead and made the packaging designs and prepared everything for print.
