&Poca was founded by two millennial foodies, on a mission to celebrate the Scotch Bonnet Chilli with their core product of chilli jams. Handcrafted in small batches with the finest organic ingredients, they guarantee the heat is done well. Delicious not vicious! Naturally flavourful, handcrafted, premium Scotch Bonnet Chilli Jam. Elevating your cheeseboards, one drop at a time.
My Creative took great inspiration from the vibrant colours and the beautifully odd shapes of this variety of chilli (Scotch Bonnet). We wanted to help the client in their mission of celebrating the Scotch Bonnet. So a series of bold watercolour illustrations were created to communicate the taste explosion that you get with these jams (Hot, Mild and Mango). This became a signature piece of the packaging and throughout the brand identity. We commissioned a portrait illustration in this style (by Ewan Leckie) of the founder’s Nick and Jhenelle along with a thank you note that goes into each box they send out.
Nick and Jhenelle, founders of &Poca and a couple who absolutely love great food experiences. &Poca is a premium condiments brand on a mission to celebrate the Scotch bonnet chilli, one drop at a time. Our Scotch Bonnet Chilli Jams are handcrafted in small batches, vegan and made from organic ingredients to deliver fantastic flavour.
Deliverables include: Research, brand identity, logo design, copy, slogan, labels, packaging, illustration, print, promotional media, and shipping box. We absolutely love &Poca and the couple and story behind it and thought you would too.
