Pet supplements – ‘Biovet’ – Bioveterinary is relatively small and a new player in the industry. The idea is to fulfil the missing gap, by introducing new high quality supplements for all different types of pets, raging from dogs to hamsters.

Client: International pharmaceutical company ‘Biofarmacija’ which operates primarily in Poland and the Baltics. Since 2012 the company has been distributing and providing large variety of high quality food supplements as well as cosmetics containing the best minerals from Israel’s Dead Sea currently available in the market.

Challenge: Competition is fears in the industry. Hence many products tend to bear similar traits. To stand out from the pack, it made perfect sense to use color as a guiding blueprint. Bright Pantones gave the brand a warm and trustworthy presence. Balance between image and type was critical. Bold, modern and most importantly legibility was important, so sans serif fonts were chosen to be used. since there is a lot of information, it was necessary to have it right. ”Affordable luxury” is best described in terms of decoration. ”Devil is in the details” as the saying goes, hence parts of the packaging bear extras, such as top opening is made out of ‘soft touch’ paper gives this packaging that smooth feeling. Embossing is used subtle, gold foil is a splash that gives the needed ‘umf’ and make the small yet necessary element ‘POP’. UV-lacquer was applied throught the packaging as an detail, giving that final and needed finishing touch.
