Team Pepper is a bold, action-oriented membership platform driving change for women and underrepresented groups. The logo and brand design reflect these values of openness, neutrality and inclusiveness. Team Pepper is a fired-up community of diverse voices, experiences and opinions, who when combined, are an unmissable majority.
The logo uses fun and friendly type that is colourful and playful. The neutral brand palette is inspired by skin tones rather than shades of grey to represent the different minority groups. Inspired by spectrum colours, the accent palette is a pastelish colourful one celebrating the different cultures and ethnic groups.
The typography is a mixture of neutrality and personality. Soleil (designed by Wolfgang Homola) is the primary typeface. And Parkside (designed by Mark Simonson) is used for marketing and advertising purposes.
Images follow the primary colour palette. Compositions show diverse people, ethnicities, colours and skin tones. Abstraction can be used for more interesting messaging.
Illustrations are drawn in a flat vector-based style. Shapes and characters are represented simply with defined edges and precise curves. You can also add subtle but defined shadows and highlights to add some depth. When possible, apply the brand colour palette to the illustrations for a more unified look.
The brand as a whole works to create an inviting and friendly space where people can share their problems, support each other and drive change through challenging and educating those currently making decisions that impact our lives, including corporate organisations and politicians.
