Flowers are often underrated when it comes to their nutrition content. These colorful blooms are packed with antioxidants and biologically active substances including vitamin A, C, riboflavin, niacin, and minerals, aiding our overall daily nutrition goals. Clubbing flower and fruit in a quirky twist Florigami is the first ever flower and fruit fusion based jam brand. Flaunting a multipurpose aspect to it, the jams work well as flavorings in various Indian and continental deserts, sweet preparations as well as breakfast spreads. The product, along with its vibrant and joyful packaging, helps in making flowers and fruits a part of daily breakfast in a delicious and fun way.
In a fast paced world where food often seems like a chore tackled with convenience, we seem to be losing our bond with food itself. Conversely, the brand is all about taking time off and savoring all that nature has to offer from the flower to the fruit. The packaging of and its corresponding, slightly abstract and geometric illustrations highlight the experiential value that the product and the ingredients have to it. From the fragrant earthiness of lavender flowers to the tingling of cherries, the brand is all about, ‘a beyond the jam’ experience.
Coming down to the nomenclature, the name ‘Florigami’ comes from the joyful and crafted feel one gets while folding paper boats and pinwheels. Origami sheets, paper folded and each side having a unique look, make the label itself look like it is in the process of being layered and crafted with care and joy. The brand also aims at bringing the user closer to what they eat and eventually nature itself. The packaging fortifies the user’s bond with nature and taking the experiential value a step further, the outer wrapping/label of the jars is made of seed paper and can be planted. Along with it decomposing completely, in time, the paper will leave behind the same flowers that the user consumes in the jams. Florigami also offers two size options in the range. Jars and tubs that consist of mixed flavored jam sachets. The packaging efficiently makes boring nutrition a lot more fun to look at and interact with.
