Client: The company “Belevsky Lakomstva” is located in an ecologically clean area in the Tula region in the Belev city. The company is equipped with high-tech and modern equipment. The company produces pastilles, preserving the tradition of the recipe since 1888. Also the company produces jams, marshmallows, fruit crackers, fruit bars.
Assignment: The task was a completely redesigning old packaging and propose a new modern concept. The old packaging is completely outdated. It was necessary to offer a modern solution, because the pastille was planned to be sold in a large hypermarket and it was necessary to meet their level. It was also necessary to develop packaging for all tastes so that they graphically differ from each other.
Solution: The pastila is made by hand. That’s why special for this project it was created illustrations (fruits) and hand-made lettering (Belevskaya Pastila). I wanted to show the naturalness of the product and its manual production. Illustrations represent different fruits from which the pastille is made. Fruits on the package varies depending on the taste. It was taken a natural rich palette of colors. Also it was developed a new box construction because the old one was inconveniently shaped. Before production, It was developed trial prototype of the packaging and provided to the customer to show its functionality.
Unfortunately, this lovely sweet boxes never reached the shelves in the stores – but I absolutely loved working on it.
