“With this project the agency was set with the task of creating a packing design for a series of French wines. The design should correspond to the general impression of classic French wine quality. That’s why the general concept was developed in a more traditional manner with some modern nuances. The overall aesthetic of the proposed design concept can be described as aristocratic and common to French noble courts. The idea of refinement and exclusivity is expressed through heraldic elements that serve as the base of the entire composition. First of all, it’s the trademark crest executed through gold foil stamping in the center of the label and repeated in the bottle cap. The heraldic theme is further continued in the background image that echoes and compliments the main crest, while also serving as a framework for the trademark title. All the necessary information is presented in a temperate and neat manner, which provides a contrast to the overall composition and emphasizes the product’s exclusivity.”
