Introduction about the brand: Steuerkanzlei FRAU is a tax consultancy based in Munich, Germany. The managing director Miguel Frau has always been enthusiastic about design. When he founded the tax consultancy eight year ago, it was important to him to get a modern and outstanding Corporate Identity, which is able to reach and touch his clients and also to acquire new employees. This is pretty difficult right now in Munich and throughout Germany.

Outline market: clients and new employees. Brief and Task: The task was to create logo, design, imagery and all means of communication to build a very strong brand that stands out from the (mostly) boring competition.

Key strategy: The key strategy was to lift out the value of trust that you need to have in order to select a tax advisor. This was fulfilled by the claim “Vertrauen bewirkt Vertrauen” (“trust creates trust”) and the illustration of the goddess fides, who stands for trust and loyalty.

Design process: The whole design process was built around this fact. Fonts, colors and imagery pay on this value. The tax office was even set up according to these criteria. The brand colors can be found in wall colors and on furniture. The signage is based on the corporate fonts. The imagery was developed together with the photographer Denis Pernath. In order to achieve individuality here, too, the shoot did not take place in the office, but outside. This created a relaxed and unconstrained atmosphere. The processing of the communication media took place at a very high level. Refinements such as hot foil stamping and regional design papers create a very valuable overall picture.

Deliverables: Logo, design pattern, corporate colour and fonts, website, flyer, brochure, stationary, signage, interior, imagery. Result of work: The result is a homogeneous picture of the brand, which is modern and yet valuable at the same time. And the most important point: it stands out from the crowd in terms of quality and modernity and thus appeals to clients and new employees at the same time.
