Pocky is a biscuit snack from Japanese company Ezaki Glico Co., Ltd. It is about sharing happiness with friends, family, colleagues – anyone, anytime, anywhere. Just open a box, pass it around, and watch the smiles and happiness spread. Although Pocky is just a snack, its target consumer is everyone rather only children or youth. However, this time Pocky pays more attention to the main target group in the young generation of consumers, and the new packaging requirements are also to catch the attention of young people.
Before the design process, Box Brand Design team has a detailed understanding of the selling points and requirements of Pocky. And then, BOX Brand Design team is committed to highlighting the characteristics of thin shape, large quantity and strong taste of products and closing to young consumers. Box team aims to create a series of unique designs that not only adapt to the brand characteristics but also help it catch the attention of young consumer groups.
In the design progress, Box Brand Design team considers the product itself at first. Using a real product shape on packaging design to shows the character of thin. The amount of strip products on the packaging indicates a large number of biscuits. Especially, The different length lines bring a sense of flow which is also shown the strong taste of the product. And different colours lines present different tastes. This project costs a mouth and BOX Brand Design team provides four designs in once time. All designs achieve great support from Pocky company. Pocky finally selected this design through objective data research of consumers. In the design, Box Brand Design team extends the design to express the features of the product itself from the beginning to the end.

The pack wrapped it with colourful appearances and special design ideas to fulfil the rising youthful market and perfectly adapt brand taste.
