” Extrem Puro Extremadura offers the finest selection of sliced Iberian ham in a completely non-traditional way. The ham comes from free-range acorn-fed Iberian pigs, which manifests itself in a superior quality.It is a very exclusive family-owned company that was created to produce, distribute and promote Iberian cured meats of the highest quality.We developed for them a visual identity based on the idea that luxury does not lie in wealth or embellishment, but rather, as Coco Chanel said, on the absence of vulgarity.The values of simplicity, exclusivity and quality are the pillars of our design approach for Extrem. We stress those values through graphic elegance, quality materials and unusual printing methods. We enlisted the collaboration of typographer Andreu Balius for the lettering, Lavernia&Cienfuegos for the cellulose packaging, and Carmen Baselga for the interior design. The marketing strategy is handled by AGR, an agency specialising in food products.”
