At Bojjanaga, we set out to create the boldest and most unapologetic spice and pickle brand that completely reimagines how a spice brand should look and feel. The client approached us with a simple but powerful brief: “I want to build a spice brand that doesn’t look like one, make it unbelievably cool.” That statement became our guiding force and set the tone for the entire creative journey.
We began by naming the brand Bojjanaga, a word that means awakening, perfectly capturing the essence of what we wanted to achieve. From that came the tagline “Awaken Your Flavour,” an invitation to rediscover the excitement and emotion behind every taste. The brand identity was crafted to feel energetic, bold, and full of life. Every detail, from the expressive typography to the vivid color palette and playful layouts, was designed to reflect curiosity, chaos, and the joy of Indian flavors. We wanted Bojjanaga to feel less like a spice brand and more like a celebration of taste, culture, and personality.
At the heart of this vibrant world stands Jango, Bojjanaga’s curious and colorful chameleon mascot. We chose a chameleon because of its natural ability to shift colors, symbolizing the ever-changing moods and experiences that come with every spice and pickle. Just as the colors of spices and the tangy tones of pickles vary, Jango’s colors change to mirror the emotion and flavor of each product. He represents adaptability, curiosity, and transformation—everything Bojjanaga stands for.
Bojjanaga is not just about taste; it is about awakening the senses and celebrating the beauty of flavor. Rooted in tradition yet driven by bold creativity, it redefines what a modern Indian spice and pickle brand can be: expressive, experimental, and bursting with life.
