Dessert wine traditionally takes a special spot in any winery’s portfolio, whether it’s a large factory or a small family business. Because a successful dessert wine is the result of considerable effort, winemaker’s skills, experience, and luck, regardless of production technique. That’s why when the Gagauz family winemaker KaraGani contracted us for the creation of a brand for their exclusive dessert wine, produced by the Pineau des Charentes technology, we’ve focused on developing something special, refined, and precious. That is how the Altin design concept was born.
Altin means “gold” in most Turkic languages, including Gagauz. The idea for the name was born when we first saw the beautiful golden color of the drink playing in the rays of the sun. And this simple word perfectly reflects the exclusive character of the drink and its main traits. From the visual standpoint, the design is fully focussed on the “golden” aspect of the product and its ethnic roots. That’s why it heavily employs gold foil stamping and ethnic graphic patterns, in conjunction creating an illusion of an authentic traditional gold stamping. As a result, the bottle looks like an exquisite adornment, created by a skilled crafter, fully reflecting the concept of this exclusive wine.
