Visual and Verbal Identity Branding for Palala a Weight Loss Studio

Task: to develop a visual and verbal identity for a weight loss studio. Solution: It’s not the beauty that will save the world. It’s the inner energy and femininity. This was the conclusion we came to after this project. Our task was to create a complete verbal and visual system for a unique product, a weight loss studio, which uses the latest technologies as well as techniques from hardware cosmetology and metabolic fitness. But let’s return to the development. Of course, it started with analysis. We researched competitors (direct and indirect), worked through the target audience, and assessed trends in the market.

The analysis showed that it was time to move away from the trivial ‘beauty’, ‘body’, etc. So we proposed several options for the name. And to choose the best one, we conducted a survey among the female audience. As a result, we chose the name Palala – a name that fully reflects the nature of the TA and is associated with the provided service (burning those extra pounds). In addition to the name, the descriptor “A place to take care of your body” was created. After all, women come to Palala not just to lose weight, but to confess their love for themselves and their bodies.

The new slogan is responsible for the emotional coloring: “Femininity is ignited here”. As they say, women love with their ears, so we could not help it but to use it. This way, we can convey the mood and the benefits of the company to the TA.
All the femininity and tenderness is enshrined in the brand identity. The corporate identity for Palala is completely based on consistency. After all, it takes a certain system to get a dream body, too. The logo is a unique sign that resembles a flower, and in it each petal denotes a component of true beauty: health, emotions, aesthetics and self-love. From this sign, we built a corporate pattern, which contributes to the rapid memorization and recognition of the Palala brand.
