Hanim is a food brand company based in Germany . on of its products is Tea that produces 5diffrent types of tea: Green Tea, ceylon Tea, saffron Tea, cardamom Tea and earl gray tea.this was made to sell in Germany and Turkey in 2016 and in the form of cardboard boxes and metal cans.Hanim Tea’s mission is to bring quality traditional tea products to the world consumers. my task was to create a packaging design for the Brand. It had to be unique, able to stand out among other tea brands, and easily understandable for customers.
The word Hanim in Turkish means lady , so i got the consept of the name and in the design of this box, i tried to establish a direct connection between the brand name and the image of the product by taking the idea from the word “woman” as the name of brand and the relation between wemen and traditionally tea making ,so an illustration of a lady (to match the Brand name meaning ) and a cup of tea have been used, in a way that shows the enjoyment of the aroma and taste of tea. Some tea leaves are located flying around to balance the vision. Inspired by Art Nouveau style, I tried to create a sense of elegant luxury and classicism in the viewer.
Using ot the withe color for the main image made a good contrast with The different colors of the boxes that are selected due to the difference in the type of teas, and in addition, the use of visual elements (cardamom, saffron, etc.) with the same illustration style of the main illustration (the woman ) helps the customer in choosing the right type . Embossed and Foil stamping techniques have made the box on the shelf more impressive.
