peek-a-Boo Houseplant Pest Remedy Packaging Design

peek-a-Boo Houseplant Pest Remedy Packaging Design

peek-a-BOO is a remedy for pests of indoor plants. Helps in the fight against aphids, whitefly, thrips, scale insects and other insects. The range includes a spray, a water-borne concentrate and tablets that can be diluted in water or inserted into the soil of the plant.
The main visual idea in packaging design is “try to find and destroy” or a kind of hide and seek game with pests. To implement this idea, the op art graphic style was used. Insects are hidden among the lines on the package.

The spray is a solution of cypermethrin and permethrin, since this agent is harmless for use in the home. This solution is of a systemic nature – when spraying a plant, it absorbs the agent and in the future insects will not gather on it. If you run out of product in the spray, you can buy a concentrate and dilute with water using the same spray bottle. The cap of the concentrate bottle can be used as a measuring cup, as it has graduated notches on the inside. The tablets can also be dissolved in water in the required proportion and the plant can be processed. But they can be inserted into the soil of the plant, and they will dissolve and enter the plant through its roots. You can calculate the number of tablets using the table on the back of the package. The volume of the spray is 900 ml, and the volume of the concentrate is 400 ml, which is enough to make ten portions of the solution in the spray bottle.
The target audience of this product is young people who have recently taken a great interest in the urban jungle. They are not very experienced in plant growing and floriculture, so the product should be as simple and straightforward to use as possible, and the packaging should be bright and attractive and qualitatively different from existing products.
