O Sol is a cartomancy and handmade candles company marked by excellence and professionalism. Currently provides counseling through tarot cards and gypsy decks, expanding in the future to runes and divination methods. In addition, it produces aromatic handmade candles to be used in the ambience and softening of places.
The main characteristics of the brand is to be refined, discreet and exclusive. A brand that seeks professionalism and the highest level of everything it does and produces.
The purpose of the project was to convey elegance, exclusivity and originality through the visual identity. All in a harmonious composition, coherent and cohesive with the brand and its target audience.
The solution found for the project was to create a symbol that escaped the obvious but without losing its meaning. A rising sun was constructed which, seen from afar, becomes a complete sun. This same symbol can also be assimilated to an eye, very present in cartomancy.
For packaging, a way to differentiate their sizes and differences was to create an icon that represents the amount of wicks, designed in the shape of a candle flame. 1 flame for 1 wick, 2 flames for 2 wicks and so on.
The chosen color palette was based on color psychology in a way that conveyed peace, exclusivity and elegance. A delicate typography to complement the elegance. This same typography was chosen to convey mysticity, as it is related to cartomancy.
Through Jung’s archetypes, both the main typography and the complementary typography were chosen to convey the characteristics of the brand.
