Nine Nights Bilingual Rum Bottle Packaging Design

Nine Nights Bilingual Rum Bottle Packaging Design

Nine Nights is a bilingual rum bottle that showcases both English and Jamaican Patois. The bottle is based off the Nine Nights ritual that takes place in Jamaica, which is a wake that lasts nine days. During those days, there is music, food, and lots of rum. After the ninth night, the person will be buried to make sure that the person’s ‘duppy’ doesn’t come back to haunt the living. “A duppy is one of two souls that a person has.” The product is an overproof rum because during the ritual they drink no less than 100 proof.
