My Creative Get the Dough on the Road by Rebranding the New Cookie Company

Designer Ewan Leckie (creative director at My creative) has teamed up with their new client Holy Chip and produced a re-brand concept for a new cookie company that is definitely not the status Dough!

Dough is a brand-new dessert gifting concept, creating big gooey cookies, freshly baked in Doha (or Dough-ha as we like to say) and delivered all over Qatar. This much loved sweet treat needed to rebrand and position itself as a fun but luxurious gift. Elevating a traditional snack to be the heart of a party, celebration or given on a special occasion to a loved one. Every single morning the brand freshly bakes a brand new cookie! and advertises it via Instagram through its “Dough me a favour ” (Featured cookie of the day).

We helped in the renaming and rebrand process from Holy Chip to Doha Dough. A now more sophisticated name allowing the brand to expand into other confectionery and treat boxes. As well as being a more playful concept, we expressed this with big lush doughy shapes and stretchy logotype paired pure peach pink background that instilled a high end quality across the packaging.

Really it just Dough’s what it says on the tin. 😉

This contrasting and recognisable design has quickly become the perfect premium gifting option. A strong favourite with millennial and young family’s. The brand is constantly shared on Instagram by its fans and new customers thrilled to try. We helped in this engagement by design content and animated gifs that customers could use to decorate their posts.

Deliverables include: Naming, Icon, Social media profile, Social media Content, animated logotype, character design, Logo design and brand identity, typography design. Bespoke word mark, jokes and copyrighting, daft puns galore! and font gift box packaging design, online content, labels, cookie gift bag and takeaway packaging. Research + brand identity, signage design, illustration, menu system, drinks coasters, restaurant design, wall art, mural, match box and promotional items.
