Cantina Becco is a family restaurant in the heart of Firenze, in a bucolic street, full of trees and many birds. Naming: The name Becco (Italian) means beak. The family is passionate about birds and wanted to honor these beautiful and free animals in the name of the restaurant. They chose the beak because it is one of the most important parts of the animal, where it sings, feeds and feeds its young.

The family that runs the place is traditional in the region and creates each pasta with a lot of personality. It is a family that has always had restaurants, this has been passed down from generation to generation. Now young entrepreneurs start a new business with the support of the older ones.

The colours were designed to bring elegance and relate the tradition of this family to the strong Italian cuisine. These are sober colors, which were developed to differentiate themselves from the cliché that some restaurants in the region use.

The logo was built from scratch especially for the project, the curves of the letters are associated with the curves present in the birds’ beaks.

The restaurant is on a not very busy street, which brings a warmth to those who eat at the tables. The space is small and the service is very close. The interior consists of two environments, a room where the tables and the cashier are located and a cellar with a contemporary and original decor, in addition to the kitchen, of course. The idea of ​​Becco’s architecture is to leave the client at ease, as if he were eating at home or at the home of a family member.

After a briefing discussion, it became clear that the owners wanted a serious and chic brand, but that it didn’t look like it was too expensive, so as not to alienate customers. He should have an identity that values ​​his passion for birds. That is why a communication was developed that brings the diversity and freedom of these animals at different times.

For the variations, everything was thought in a sober way, adding small details that reinforce the origin and tradition of the restaurant.
