Ruto Design Studio – Clothy Handmade Clothes
The Brief: Logo and corporate identity for the company Clothy.
“Modern clothes made by hand with love, inspired by our grandmothers.”
The Design: The name clothy is inspired by the ancient greek word “κλωθώ” {clotho}, that means spinning combined with the english word clothe. As a logo we create a simple symbol, a modern line portrait of a grandmother, with two knitting needles passing behind her. The color palette is composed of black and white, in order to allow the combination with various colors of textiles.
