Contour is specialized in architecture, design, and construction in Armenia. There are not too many local companies, which offer design, architecture, and construction services at the same time. So, the company itself has taken on significant responsibility. Three important branches – very similar and very different from each other, carried out by the same organization.
Contour’s mail goal was to have a full branding, including naming, that would represent the three services in the simplest way possible, but yet will be engaging and show the professionalism of the organization in all three areas equally.
So, after long brainstorming sessions, our team started to work on branding being inspired by the following words – innovation, integrity, and excellence. Three general words, based on which contour’s branding was created.
Considering the above-mentioned goal – to create a brand that will represent the three services in the simplest way possible – our challenge was to develop a brand, that would attract not only industry gurus but also others interested in design, construction, and architecture. It’s obvious, that having to design the logo in a minimalistic style made our work even harder.
Long story short, we created a minimalistic logo, as it was planned, and call the company Contour – which sounds cool and is directly associated with the services provided.
By merging a drawing compass (symbolizing architecture), a pencil (symbolizing design), and a building (symbolizing construction) like the brand itself does we reached the contour’s branding goal – all three services in one logo.
