Accompany Creates New Identity for Stanford Brown Financial Services

Let’s be honest, financial services are often considered cold, impersonal and hard to emotionally identify with. Stanford Brown (SB), a Private Wealth company of experienced and knowledgable advisors, make it their mission to genuinely connect to both their team and clients.

Actually, their existing clients know and respect them for going deeper on the things that matter and providing the expertise that fulfils their lives. AT the end of the day it’s much more than numbers. Stanford Brown are people people.

Accompany was tasked with creating a new brand identity that could take Stanford Brown from flying under the radar to market leadership. It had to be modern, confident and above all personable. So we created a brand identity that did exactly that. From research to brand strategy to visual identity, we relooked at the brand in its entirety.

A proud and refined logo paired with a delightful trustmark are the cornerstone of the identity – the elephant, an embodiment of their tough love ethos and one of the strongest and most emotionally intelligent creatures of the animal kingdom. The typography is bold, clean and timeless – restraint being a key visual principal.

We had the exciting opportunity to create a new library of imagery and illustrations. The photography, created by the talented Saskia Wilson, beautifully capturing candid life moments and the entire talent of Stanford Brown. The simple and considered compositions and natural lighting style breaking through the category’s sea of stock corporate imagery.

Our addition of vibrant, modern illustration to the identity brings to life financial concepts in a metaphorical and delightful way – one which stand out in the finance industry. Combined with rich greens and highly intentional layouts that give importance to compelling messages, the brand identity captures Stanford Brown’s warmth and intelligence.

The brand comes together across print, online and outdoor. A wholistic approach that stretches across multiple formats.

Because finance is for people.
