Zany & Shy is a luxury jewelry brand made by order in Italy and founded by Hanan Moser. Their timeless jewelry pieces are ethically crafted with recyclable gold and traceable materials including lab-grown diamonds and gemstones.

During our strategy workshop we unveiled the following brand values and ethos: “Respect, Community, Gratitude, Positivity, Generosity – We provide women with beautiful reminders of their feminine power.” Their brand personality is zany, confident, honest, creative, and compassionate while their tone of voice is strong, beautiful, transparent, mature, and creative. Zany and Shy has a mission to help women feel beautiful in everyday moments and their vision is to make every woman feel beautiful no matter the moment, the day or the events in their life.

Our scope of work included branding services such as basic identity, business cards, social media content design, brand guidelines, and a custom Shopify theme. We designed a fun, yet sophisticated logotype containing a distinct ampersand glyph. For the color system, we selected a subtle olive green to emphasize the sustainability nature of the brand and neutral beiges with warm gold to convey understated luxury. The overall visual system speaks as much zany as it speaks shy, while beautifully complimenting their sustainable yet luxurious jewelry.

In less than two years, they expanded globally and were featured in some of the most popular magazines such as British Vogue, Marie Claire, The Coveteur, Harpers Bazaar, and L’Officiel.
