AIDA Warsaw Mini Comp is making waves—not just in the freediving world but also in branding. As the first monthly freediving competition in the world, it stands out for more than its groundbreaking format. The Warsaw Mini Comp is also the world’s only freediving competition running each month—a bold move considering the immense effort required to organize such an event. Unlike other competitions that struggle to survive, Warsaw Mini Comp is thriving and progressing. This boldness in concept — was directly translated into the visual identity by Kasia Gast.
The competition’s visual identity is an audacious mix of bold typography, grainy black-and-white photography, and raw aesthetics inspired by punk zines and analogue photography. This disruptive approach to sports branding is a breath of fresh air in an industry often dominated by sleek, polished visuals. The deliberate use of grainy textures and high-contrast imagery echoes the DIY ethos of underground publications, bringing a sense of raw authenticity and counterculture spirit to the freediving scene. The typography, large and unapologetic, commands attention—just like the athletes pushing their limits in the water.
The branding had to be bold, uncompromising—like a punch in the face—big, bold, and unapologetic. It challenges conventions, embracing imperfection and intensity over glossy perfection. What sets Warsaw Mini Comp apart is not just its status as the first competition of its kind but also its unique ability to merge subcultural aesthetics with sports branding. It challenges conventions, embracing imperfection and intensity over glossy perfection.
At the heart of this project is Kasia Gast, the creative force behind its striking visual language. Her vision transforms freediving which is a niche sport into a bold, visually compelling movement. A major credit must also go to Daniel Losinski, the mastermind behind the competition itself, for pioneering a bold monthly formula of the competition – the concept that shakes global freediving scene as Warsaw Mini Comp is the only competition in the world which is running every damn month!
The competition has become a global success, attracting athletes not only from Poland or Europe but also from other continents.
In a world where branding is often about predictability, Warsaw Mini Comp dives deep into the unexpected. It’s more than a competition—it’s a statement, a brand, a fearless brat —bold, relentless, and unafraid to push boundaries, bringing fresh concepts that shake up the entire freediving scene globally!

Static Apnea (STA) – Holding breath while floating on the water’s surface for maximum time.
Both disciplines test breath control, endurance, efficiency, and mental power.
