Waraq 3nbat is a restaurant branding and packaging project built around stuffed grape leaves (mahshi), reimagined through a bold, playful, and memorable visual identity. Rooted in a familiar and widely loved dish, the project set out to transform it into a more youthful, expressive, and distinctive fast-casual brand experience that feels both culturally connected and visually fresh.
The identity was developed to move away from the expected look often associated with traditional food brands, replacing it with a more energetic and character-driven system. Strong Arabic typography, vibrant colors, sticker-inspired graphics, a custom mascot, and bold composition choices come together to create a brand world that feels lively, recognizable, and easy to remember. The goal was not only to package a product, but to shape a complete visual experience around it.
The system extends across multiple touchpoints including logo design, packaging, merchandise, signage, and environmental branding. From takeaway boxes and paper bags to staff uniforms and in-store applications, every element was designed to work together as part of one cohesive identity. This helped position Waraq 3nbat as more than just a food brand, turning it into a playful and contemporary fast-casual concept with a strong point of view.
At the center of the project is the idea of taking something familiar and presenting it with a fresh attitude. The final result is a restaurant brand that feels bold, approachable, and full of personality while still keeping the product itself at the heart of the experience. Waraq 3nbat brings together flavor, character, and visual consistency in a way that makes the brand feel distinctive across both print and space.
