Vorpal started from the pitch of combining hip hop culture and geek culture into one creating a streetwear dedicated for geeks. Vorpal was created by people who have passion in pen and paper roleplaying games, board games and miniature war games let’s set Dungeons and Dragons as the best example. The brand aspires to line up with mall brands instead of positioning itself on lower tier streetwear brands. Vorpal gives opportunity for geeks to live their adventure which is the tagline of the brand “Live Your Adventure”, and the brand is also open for non-geeks who wants to support the culture giving way on making the community bigger. Vorpal aims to standout by using a not very common way of branding which is using doodles on top of images to give off the brand’s personality of being imaginative and creative just like what they do on their game which are using their imagination while playing the games and being creative on creating their characters and gameplays. Using red orange colors to represent the owner’s passion on making this brand for the geek community and also to present their creativity thru shirt designs. Vorpal is aiming to later on transition to a lifestyle brand. For now, they have dipped their toes in event planning (RECCON) and community building (RPG Cebu). For the apparel side of things, they want to create pieces that are unique, that toe the line between cosplay and streetwear. Truly, this brand will be a big hit in the streetwear scene soon engaging geeks and non-geeks in one thing will be a dream come true.
