” Sandeman asked VOLTA to design its Quinta do Seixo Single Estate Vintage gift box, creating a pack that should reflect this premium wine’s dark colour and excepcional quality.

As Porto vintage is a type of wine that rests and ages in dark, cool and dry cellars, our initial idea was to emulate this dark and somber environment. So, not surprisingly, we chose black as the pack’s main color and decorated it with punchy blocks of type in shiny black foil stamping. This “total darkness” is at points diminished by small gold details and an outside beige sleeve, that works as a display information layer for the wine.

The end result is a clean, dark and premium pack: a symbol of the respect for time and for waiting, essential conditions to appreciate the best vintage Porto wines.”
