Snob by Vinum is a wine series that deliberately rethinks how wine speaks to its audience. The project is built around a simple but often overlooked idea: wine does not have to be serious to be meaningful, and enjoyment does not require explanation.

The name Snob is intentionally ironic. It plays with the image of wine as an exclusive, intellectual territory filled with strict rules, complex terminology and unspoken expectations. Instead of reinforcing these clichés, the project gently dismantles them. Snob invites a more relaxed, instinctive relationship with wine, where personal taste matters more than expertise.

This philosophy is reflected directly in the visual identity. Rather than relying on traditional symbols of prestige, the design introduces expressive anthropomorphic animal characters. These illustrations bring humor, individuality and warmth into the label design, creating an immediate emotional response. Each character feels alive, approachable and slightly mischievous, setting the tone for the entire series.

The graphic system remains intentionally restrained. Clean compositions, balanced proportions and carefully chosen color accents ensure clarity and consistency across the range. The illustrations become the focal point, while the minimal structure allows the labels to remain elegant without becoming distant or cold.
