About the project: Ivotsteklo is one of the oldest Russian enterprises traces its history from the 18th century, when plant founder Maltsev established the Ivot Glass Factory, part of the joint-stock company of Maltsev Factories and located in the village of Ivot, Bryansk region. Maltsev factories were the largest not only in the Russian Empire, but surpassed the factories of a number of European countries
The first production was released in 1976 – sheet glass, produced manually from a pot oven. In 1903, the first bathroom furnace was built at the factory, and in 1904, two bathroom furnaces were already operating. The output of window glass in 1913 was 752 thousand square meters. Since 1989, the plant has been producing sewing products made of basalt and glass superfine fibers of the TIB and TIS brands. There are lines for the production of knitting-stitched basalt flame-retardant roll material of the MVBOR brand, used for fire protection of air ducts and metal structures.
Following the strict USSR GOST standards, the company produces products used for thermal insulation in strategically important and critical areas: nuclear power plants, factories, aviation, shipbuilding, energy structures.
The task: We got the task to develop an identity and corporate website design for a basalt thermal fiber production plant and update all points of visual communications. The new corporate identity is designed to emphasize the emotional freshness of the brand, the technological effectiveness of production and compliance with all modern requirements for industrial production, such as environmental friendliness, safety, and so on.
As part of the corporate identity, we have developed a number of icons that are used on the website, in printed products and in social networks. They indicate the industries in which the company’s products are used, as well as the unique advantages of the products.
Identity: The archetype of the brand is apollo, calm blue and gray colors correspond to it. The design of the brand name includes the image of the Cyrillic monogram “И», as well as the Latin polygram «IVS», taken from the brand name. A dynamic pattern is provided for branding various surfaces. Within the framework of the project, a branded merchandising materials has been developed: promotional products, souvenirs, clothing, vehicle design, social media design, as well as a corporate catalog and website
