True Anomaly, based in Denver (CO), develops cutting-edge technology that combines spacecraft, software, and AI to enhance nations’ safeguarding capabilities and ensure space access for allies and commercial partners. We assisted True Anomaly in crafting a new brand identity and website that is as forward-thinking as the solutions they create, solidifying their position as a leader in space security technologies.

Our rebranding of True Anomaly had two key objectives. One was to solidify its position as a leader in space security ahead of its Series B funding campaign, and the other was to better equip the brand to handle an expanding suite of digital and physical products.

The new logo is a central element in the refreshed brand identity. It is inspired by the Greek letter Nu (ν), symbolising the ‘true anomaly’ – an angular measurement defining an object’s position in its orbit. The logo merges a triangle with an elliptical orbit to form the Nu symbol, resulting in a design that merges sleek modernity with the assertiveness necessary for the security industry.

The brand typeface is TWK Everett, created by Nolan Paparelli. With its blend of modern simplicity and precise details, TWK Everett is versatile and suitable for both body text and larger display purposes.

We supported True Anomaly in developing product-specific universes for their expanding product suite. This included colour schemes, 3D renders, motion principles, and a custom pattern generator, among other elements. These assets are all incorporated into the website we designed for True Anomaly.

The updated brand contributed to True Anomaly’s Series B fundraising round, attracting $100M in investments.
