The Kosciuszko Foundation Rebranding

The Kosciuszko Foundation Rebranding

Founded in 1925, the Kosciuszko Foundation promotes closer ties between Poland and the United States through educational, scientific and cultural exchanges. It awards up to $1 million annually in fellowships and grants to graduate students, scholars, scientists, professionals, and artists, and promotes Polish culture in America. The Foundation has awarded scholarships and provided a forum to Poles who have changed history. These days, young Poles and Polish Americans are uniquely poised to change the world through the humanities and the arts, the sciences, technology, and business. But it takes money to finance their dreams through education. With scholarships, they can become the leaders of tomorrow.

The Kościuszko Foundation has always been using its full-length name and a complicated form of seal as the logo. As our main goal was visual and communicational simplicity, we’ve decided to build the brand concept based on its everyday used shortage – the KF. Also, to improve the legibility and usability of the seal, we have made the stylistic and optical corrections to it original form. The contradicting in colors, centralized rectangles symbolize Polish-Amercian collaboration through the KF work. Both countries, taking what’s best from their diversed cultures. Moreover a simple Key Visual based on the article „THE” completes whole branding system.
