The result is a range that feels unexpected, exciting and unmistakably Mr Chen’s.
Each flavour draws inspiration from iconic Asian dishes, reimagined through the comforting lens of creamy Mac & Cheese. Japanese Curry, Spicy Carbonara and Korean Gochujang deliver rich flavour stories that instantly stand out in a sea of traditional cheese options. It is comfort food with a twist, designed to spark curiosity while still delivering the indulgent familiarity shoppers crave.
Designed to feel familiar yet distinctive, the range carves out its own space on shelf while still nodding to the much loved Mr Chen’s world. The visual language balances playful flavour storytelling with the authenticity that fans of the brand already trust. Bold colour, expressive typography and mouthwatering food cues work together to signal that something different has arrived in the aisle.
Behind the scenes, we evolved the brand identity and packaging design system originally created with the Mr Chen’s team. The refreshed system strengthens the brand while building a flexible platform designed for the future. It protects the warmth, personality and cultural cues that make Mr Chen’s so recognisable, while opening the door to future FMCG innovation, NPD, collaborations and flavour adventures.
This first release marks the beginning of a much bigger playground for the brand, where comfort food classics meet bold Asian flavour and the Mr Chen’s personality continues to stretch in new and unexpected directions.
