Task: To inspire with the style of the new season the fans who are used to rooting for a strong team, a team with a long history, during its period without high-profile victories.
Background: The football club “Dinamo Minsk” is a legendary team of the USSR. Fans are proud of the club’s history and put an equal sign between “champions” and “Dinamo”. However, the team had no high-profile victories in independent Belarus in recent years. FC Dinamo Minsk has not become a champion for 16 years in a row, and the support of the fans has become less extensive. Contrary to this, the team has ambitions to get the long-awaited title, and the fans – the readiness to support the success of their favourite club.
Idea: There is nothing stronger than admitting the truth: everyone has hard times and easy times. The main thing is to always remember that we are all united by faith. Faith in yourself, faith in your team, faith in winning!
Decision: “What I Beleive” is the strategy that has become the basis of the style of the season. The design unit is a triangle, a classic football pass combination.
Each triangle in the season pattern is the result of a separate game over 29 years. The triangle has become a symbol of fan support, as the main pass during a match that affects the result of the game is the support pass from the fans to the players. Thus, in the new season, the club shows how important and necessary the fans’ support is for the team. The style of the season energizes fans to give a pass of faith to write new championship history together.
