Abramtsevo is a state historical, artistic and literary museum-reserve, where famous artists lived and worked: Vrubel, Polenov, Vasnetsov and others. Now you can easily visit this unique place in one day, escaping from the noisy metropolis into the arms of a creative atmosphere, and find your inspiration!
The territory covers about 50 hectares and includes architectural monuments of the 18th and 19th centuries, a park and the picturesque surroundings of the Vori River. The collection of the museum-reserve contains more than 25 thousand exhibits important for the preservation of the historical, cultural and natural heritage of a country or region: paintings, graphics, sculpture, works of decorative, applied and folk art, as well as photographs and archives of the former owners of the estate.
The workshops founded in the estate marked the beginning of the revival and development of ancient crafts — wood carving and majolica production, and made Abramtsevo “the cradle of the neo-Russian style”. The spirit of ancient workshops formed the basis of the concept of this project.
The task was to make a rebranding for the Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve. The goal of this project is to preserve the character and values of the brand, as well as to develop an identity system and bring the brand’s communication in line with the rebranding trends of cultural institutions that are beginning to speak a more modern language.
Thus, the new brand identity, based on an image combining traditions and tranquility, will help attract lovers of nature and history, for whom active cultural recreation is commonplace and a stable part of leisure time, who are the main target audience.
Abramtsevo is like a co-working space in neo-Russian style, an oasis for creative people, where you can relax in the greenery of the park and unique architectural structures, find your inspiration and immerse yourself in master classes in a historical place.
