Splinker ID: The athlete’s story

Splinker is a startup for professional athletes and the sports community operating at the intersection of professional sport, and social media. The main objective of the project is to create an environment where athletes, fans, and sports enthusiasts can interact freely while also connecting them with brands ready to support and invest in athletic culture and community.

Splinker rethinks the way modern athletes build their identity and communicate with audiences. Today, an athlete is not only a competitor but also a media figure, storyteller, and cultural influencer. The platform provides tools for athletes to share their journeys, engage with their communities, and collaborate with brands in a way that feels authentic to contemporary sports culture.

The visual identity is built on a classical architectural foundation with an emphasis on a dynamic, athletic image. Hyper-contemporary, tech-driven lettering, a minimalistic sans-serif typeface, and linear graphic elements form the core of the system. The graphic language references motion, performance data, and the visual rhythm of training environments and sports broadcasts.

Bold iconography, dynamic typography, and an active color palette all contribute to presenting sport as a subculture — a complete interactive environment and a lifestyle in its own right. The identity system is designed to be flexible across digital interfaces, social media, and brand collaborations, reflecting the constantly evolving nature of modern athletic communication.

The project was completed in collaboration with creative agency Red Keds and the whmkst design team.
