Small Batch Pure and Variant Honey Blossom, with Packaging Design Influenced by Polish folk Art

Small Batch Pure and Variant Honey Blossom, with Packaging Design Influenced by Polish folk Art

Ania Drozd – FAMILY APIARY

The family of traditional Polish beekeepers took up the challenge to create more buzz around their quality honey. The creative goal was to communicate traditional beekeeping and hand-made qualities as well as the provenance of the product.Small batches of honey are distributed straight from the family apiary surrounded by a clean environment with an abundance of plants and flowers and occasionally sold on the farmer’s market. The final design concept evokes synergy of traditional folk craft and craftsmanship. Generic honey labels were replaced with stylised, bespoke design influenced by traditional Polish folk art of cutting paper, where nature and beliefs were the major sources of inspiration. The white colour of the paper remains distinctive for the Lublin region.Transparent sticker allows to enjoy the beauty of the natural honey and underpin “nothing to hide” philosophy of the apiary. The honey range gained definite regional appeal expressed by handmade, folk aesthetics harmonising with warm, natural colour palette of the product.”
