A new packaging design was required for Wilderer’s new Rum called Rogue Rum that would fall under Wilderer’s Rogue range (i.e. Rogue Moonshine Apple Pie, and Rogue Moonshine Hopster) with it’s own unique identity and packaging design.

The Rogue Fynbos Spiced Rum is a seriously smooth Rum, which celebrates Fynbos in all its glory – beautifully intertwined with delicious spices and rounded off with a lingering sweetness. This unique Rum can be enjoyed neat, on ice, or mixed conventionally to make exceptional cocktails.

The concept was inspired by the The Cape of Good Hope which was frequented by sailors throughout history carrying valuable spices from strange worlds afar. Never did they think to look underfoot and appreciate the Fynbos Floral Kingdom and its bountiful riches. The beloved African Rogue seeks to plunder these treasures in search of these prizes.

Long has he hungered to rob the limelight and through innovation and creativity his slumber has drawn to an end. Now, he doth tread the fields of the Fynbos Floral Kingdom, in search of his treasure: A beautifully balanced bite of Fynbos, sticked together with molasses.”

Beautifully dark, chocolate and amber, the Rogue Rum boasts an attractive appearance. Long legs, smooth on the palate with a soft sweet finish. The nose reveals caramel molasses and treacle with an interesting twist. A bouquet of herbal Fynbos intertwines and compliments the conventional rum notes and finishes with sweet wood and tobacco.
