When it comes to creating a package for a new product, the design is just as important as the product itself. The packaging is often the first point of contact between the consumer and the brand, and it needs to make a lasting impression. The RIVOLI brand’s latest addition is a versatile LED table lamp that shines in both white light and RGB. This autonomous lamp is powered by a battery and comes with a remote control, allowing users to easily create the perfect ambiance. The lamp’s acrylic body not only transmits light, but also creates interesting shadows on surfaces.

To showcase the lamp’s dynamic color options, the design team led by Vladimir Shmoylov decided to utilize three out of the four sides of the packaging for presentation. The main face of the package features a white glow, while the second and third sides display the lamp’s green and pink glow options. To the right of the main image, additional photos were added to give customers an idea of the different glow options available. Pictograms were also included to indicate the presence of a remote control and battery. The fourth side of the package is reserved for technical information, instructions, barcode and other necessary details.

The result is a package that not only looks great on store shelves, but also effectively communicates the product’s features to potential customers. The use of different glow options on the package allows customers to get a sense of the product’s versatility, while the pictograms and technical information ensure that customers have all the information they need to make a purchase decision. Additionally, by rotating the package, the display can be changed to showcase all three glow options, creating an emotionally rich display from just one SKU.
