J&B Theater in a glass

J&B stands for a world of taste, simple but never subtle. With their unconventional heart and rocking-it-all ambition, they are ready to beat G&T at their own game. When asked to create a bold and pioneering design approach for their visuals (to be used in print and digital), we created an ownable drink identity for them.

As brand designers we boozed their character into a modern context of foodylicious pronounced photography, making sure every image had page-licking taste appeal. Taking back the stage for their younger audience, we chose the background of all the drink portraits colors boldly. The colors are a sign of the times and enrich the mixed drink itself.

We wanted to make sure no one could deny their identity, ever. So, we created their own ice cubes, or better yet, ice-rocks. A true statement of refreshment and part of the visual identity. Then we had to make sure the rest of the ingredients would blend in with this smashing robustness. Giving the drinks a refined, yet still accessible, elegance. Last but not least, the bubbles and other subtle elements were created with the utmost detail. There’s not a bubble or ingredient misplaced.

The poppy colors, the iconic ice rocks and all that’s bubbly were provided the main stage. We bring you … drum roll … Theater in a glass. Sit back and enjoy the show, euhm, drink.
