The design we made for Extrem over four years ago, which received the Platinum Pentaward, has been taken a step further. Last Tuesday it appeared at the Lladró showroom in Madrid. The historic porcelain company has produced it in matt and gloss
white porcelain, with the pig in gold luster. We had to make some adjustments in collaboration with the Lladró team as their meticulous handcrafted production system called for some minor changes in the design of the piece. And this is the result. We are
very happy with it and very proud to have Lladró as an artisan manufacturer, and also to see how a good client (determined to have their extraordinary Iberian ham presented on the table with the dignity it deserves) has managed to get this little pig, which doesn’t seem like it moves, to really go for a trot.
