Independent bottler Crowlista Casks launched with a bold new identity, thoughtfully developed by creative studio Pim-Pam, for its debut release: a characterful Caribbean rum finished in Oloroso sherry casks. Rooted deeply in storytelling and expressive of place, process, and provenance, the brand was carefully built to balance elegance with individuality while offering a strong and flexible platform for future growth and releases.
The packaging system expertly strikes a balance between consistency and creativity. A clean, minimal label layout ensures visual continuity across future releases, while allowing ample space for rotating bespoke artworks that visually define and differentiate each unique bottling. For the inaugural edition, Caymanian artist Iain MacRae was commissioned to create a bespoke painting inspired by the richness of the spirit and the layered culture and heritage of the islands. His bold, emotive work becomes the centrepiece of the design, printed directly onto the label with premium production values and finishes.
Details such as foil stamping, textured stocks, and refined typography reinforce a premium and sophisticated feel, while the art-forward approach gives the bottle undeniable shelf presence and visual impact. From identity and packaging through to creative direction and tone of voice, Pim-Pam built a distinctive, cohesive brand world that celebrates craft, collaboration, and collectability, positioning Crowlista Casks as a confident newcomer in the spirits category.
