The Taoscán is a tantalising taste of the finest whiskeys created in the island of Ireland. The youngest addition to The Craft Irish Whiskey Co.’s stable — the colt sired from triple distilled thoroughbred stock. As a whiskey tailored to high-end luxury bars, its presentation and packaging need to showcase the beauty and appeal of the whiskey through its display, whilst still making it an exquisite and exclusive tasting experience.

Based on an open tray design, The Taoscán was created to be the centre of all attention, a true centrepiece when brought to a table to be served. Visible from any angle, this 360-degree open design allows the bottle and the colours of the whiskey to showcase no matter which angle is being viewed from. The copper structure brings warmth to the serving tray, while the dark wood base and leather handles bring a richness of textures to hold and admire.

The bespoke Taoscán glass vessel presents a faceted divergent design, with a thick base that elevates the whiskey, diamond shaped towards the front whilst creating a side step that optimises its handling whilst pouring. The lid, in a thin copper and obsidian detailing, brings a richness of colours that highlight the whiskey, always with the copper, leather and wooden accents in the background.

The tray itself maximises the entire tasting experience, with slots in the base, not only for the bottle, but for the entire range of bespoke accessories: a glass and copper pipette, whiskey stones, carafe, coaster and glass, brought together to provide the ultimate whiskey bar experience.

An optional display case for collectors has been created: dark wooden base with locator slots for the tray, with a 5-sided clear display lid, locked by two side cabinet locks, and with a large leather handle and copper fittings at the very top. In the back, a customised copper label gives the authenticity seal to the owner of the collector’s version of The Taoscán, for the whiskey experts that prefer to indulge in its richness at the comfort of their private homes.
