Kontos food company has been producing and packaging local products of Euboea since 1986.

In product development, he studied and proceeded to create gourmet flavors that upgrade the company and meet the new needs of the buying public.
Thanks to their two chutney flavors, the Kontos company offers consumers new culinary delights.
ΑBC design, having designed the entire range of the company’s products, was invited to create these two codes in the corporate design, but with a differentiation so that they stand out and promote this new category.
The label of the two new products was designed to reflect the excellent quality products, the uniqueness of the ingredients used, but also the daring advances of the company in the market of chutney products. Black was selected as the main color on the label to underline boldly the premium taste and quality of the product. The ingredients contained in each package are depicted as gravure printings, a technique that conveys the quality, merit and uniqueness of the product. The engravements are colored in soft watercolor shades corresponding to the ingredients -red for the tomato & chili chutney and green for the fig & ginger chutney- providing the label with aesthetic balance and clarity.
The performance of the colors as well as the engravings were one of the requests of the strategic study of the series since they characterize the products and the image of the Kontos company.
The sharpness of taste is conveyed by the pulsating line running along the top and bottom of the label, while the font aesthetically projects the distinct taste of the product.
By creating these two packages, the Kontos company wins the bet of taste by confirming that local production units can produce quality products with a distinct taste and unique aesthetic.
