Nepal Distilleries wanted to launch a new vodka that was bold and impactful, targeting a younger audience in Nepal who are enjoying lighter, fresher white spirits and exploring modern international brands. They were turning away from domestic brands that they saw as too traditional and heritage focused. They seek brands with more modernity and personality.
The concept and the name ‘Nude’ was chosen for its attitude and freshness, cutting through the more traditional local brands. The name reflects the new liquid, a rice-based vodka that is charcoal filtered in small batches for extra cleanness and smoothness. This unique process, developed together with an internationally renowned blender and bartender, leaves nothing to hide and a natural sweetness and supreme quality.
The distinctive new bottle structure hero’s the crystal clear liquid, allowing light to refract through the bottle text and brand message ‘Superior Spirit of Character’. The bold embossed messaging speaks of confidence and quality, and with embossing on both front and back creates tactility and layering both on shelf and in the hand.
The clean and crisp graphics create strong standout and bar call, and the Nude branding is supported by key messaging to emphasise the premium quality, including the master distiller’s signature. A new stamp combines the bold N character with the iconic star from Nepal, to celebrate the brand’s proud national heritage as the country’s first rice based vodka. The bottle is finished with a bespoke silver cap to further support the premium cues and clean, crisp taste of the vodka.
