Nothing tasked us with producing and creating two promotional packs for their latest up-and-coming audio products Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a). These were going to be sent out to global influencers and tech journalists. They wanted the packs to help drive maximum shareability by being eye-catching for people to be excited enough to receive and share the latest products online with their followers.
Nothing Ear (a) is a more playful, affordable audio product, so the pack needed to reflect this. We started by playing with the campaign wording “Let’s play.” and the things you may experience whilst listening to the audio device. We also looked at using yellow as a dominant colour, as this was the first time nothing had released a product in another colourway other than black or white. This helped to create a pack that stood out in the playful theme they wanted to convey. We also created a branded Nothing fidget spinner and booklet to accompany the audio product.

Made for every part of every day, Ear (a) is for the music lovers.
Nothing Ear is a more premium audio product within their range, so we needed to show this from a different perspective and approach. We kept things minimal and simple focusing on the theme around the headphone’s “Sound, evolved.” These words were foiled and embossed on the front of the pack and placed on either side of the perforated opening to enhance the user experience when revealing the product. A booklet was placed inside to accompany the audio product.
