Toxic Duck worked with Ninth Garden to create a new name, a logo and an identity system which brings their passion, their dream and vision to life.
Formally Yicorp Group, Ninth Garden approached us to strategise a revolutionary property development company to align with their new philosophy, passion and beliefs. The visual identity needed to be luxurious and approachable, but also needed to be strong, powerful and present. The client didn’t want to feel new or continue to carry an ‘up and coming’ reputation. They wanted to feel and appear established. The logo needed to be timeless. It needed to have the ability to evolve and adapt through time and trends without becoming stale or old. It had to be simple.
Ninth Garden didn’t need to just appeal to itself, it needed to touch the hearts of investors, architects, engineers and humanity. It is vital people believed in what the business was trying to achieve. Its visual identity had to be likeable and friendly, but sound and trustworthy.
By hosting brand strategy workshops and helping the client uncover themselves and their business, we were taken on a journey together to find the appropriate identity. The solution is a meaningful reflection of our intensive research, discovery sessions, and consideration for customers, designers, suppliers, investors and the business’ vision.
The logo emits a sense of luxury and lifestyle, but stands strong and has a timeless presence. It’s an identity that can be applied anywhere, anytime to anything. Its simplicity and distinctiveness helps Ninth Garden flourish against its competitors as an approachable, trustworthy and likeable property development company.
