Is tech for boys only? Noooo! However, only 26% of people working in tech in the UK are women. The key reasons behind that are the men-oriented environment, gender gap, and lack of female role models. Next Tech Girls have come to smash all of these stereotypes!

Next Tech Girls by Empiric is an initiative that inspires today’s girls in education to become tomorrow’s women in tech. But girls are not inspired by tech — they are inspired by everything cool. So we decided to show them, that tech can be as cool as TikTok is. Because TikTok is tech too. Yes, tech is cool! Next Tech Girls is cool like a girl. Letters, just like her, do not behave according to rules. The colors are just like her bright hair – juicy, classy, and sassy. We want to help splash out her wild energy into the rebellion. The project is very near and dear to our hearts, as a workplace ourselves, 50% of our team are women with burning eyes and amazing ideas that they bring to the table. As a company, we care about equal opportunities for everyone and believe that each step we take toward progress in this direction will have an impact on working conditions in the next 10 years.

We want to inspire and impact an even bigger audience. Young girls need to see that women can be successful in tech and be able to relate to them. That’s why we use real girls in our branding to motivate young girls to move tech with their fresh ideas and cast stereotypes and fears aside. Our team believes that Next Tech Girls requires as much exposure as possible, so we can interest more teenage girls in tech.
