New Visual Identity for Brasileirão Itatiaia Broadcast Media

Radio Itatiaia is one of the most traditional radio stations in Brazil, with 71 years of history. Founded in 1952 in Belo Horizonte, the capital of Minas Gerais, the radio station has stood out for its complete and impartial journalistic coverage over the years.

One of the main focuses of the station is sports broadcasting, especially football. Itatiaia has been a reference in sports broadcasting in the country and has a large audience among sports fans, especially football fans.

Finally, the great challenge arose to create a visual identity for Brasileirão Itatiaia that would serve a larger audience in the digital environment. With the growing importance of digital media, I needed to think outside the box and find an authentic and attractive solution for the digital audience.

To accomplish this task, I, who was responsible for creating the visual identity together with Itatiaia’s marketing team, met several times to discuss ideas and sketch possible solutions. After much work and research, we finally came up with an idea that seemed perfect.

The new identity combines traditional elements of Brazilian football with a more modern and visual approach. The vibrant colors and graphic elements were chosen to refer to the Brazilian flag, both in form and typography.

The final result of the new visual identity was impressive. The Itatiaia team and I were able to create a brand that is authentic, attractive and that, at the same time, represents the tradition of the station and Brazilian football.

The new visual identity for Radio Itatiaia will help make Brasileirão coverage even more attractive and interesting to radio listeners. In addition, the new brand will contribute to the station’s image in an increasingly competitive digital environment.

I believe that the new brand will not only win over Itatiaia listeners but also football fans throughout Brazil.
