As a brand they have a vision to be the influential leader of the espresso coffee category in Greece, establishing the brand as pillar of innovation and expertise. Our repositioning elevates Buondi Craft, putting attention to detail at the heart of the brand and relaunching them as an inspiring partner for coffee experts and enthusiasts alike. Another key consideration was that the design needed to transfer seamlessly across an ever growing range flavours, tiers and products.

Inspired by the urban craft-coffee shop experience, we introduced a modernised barista-inspired brand look. Bold graphic crops of the distinctive italic logo create three core range expressions for espresso, whole beans and filter, each one a representation of the coffee-making process. Pared-back colour palettes and sticker-style labelling bring ‘origin’ stylistics to the range of packs, each of which feature individual handwritten barista notes to bring the coffee shop into the home.

Designed to hold its own in the premium coffee world, Buondi Craft’s new look blends style and craft with plenty of energising substance.

Full project deliverables included strategic redesign of brands retail offer, initially for the Greek market. Deliverables included packaging design, brand design, typographic styles, variant naming, storytelling and illustration.
