Melvi is a new health tech company in Brazil, our mission is to improve the healthcare of those who can’t afford insurance. We are a very early-stage startup.
We are a subscription program where the patients can have discounts on medical appointments and exams, and they also have an app for scheduling exams and can talk to the health team to ask questions.
We did all the research and brand building work for 4 months, we did several research and testing phases. We analyzed the entire health segment and saw that in the Brazilian scenario there is no brand that was really loved by customers.
The brand strategy was to create something organic and tech that could connect with patients and was somehow aspirational, for this, we created a typographic logo with visual adjustments to make it look more organic in movement. Also included the fully organic support element that would serve to complete the brand’s universe. We also created a welcome kit for sending our health card, where the idea is to create a physical link beyond the application.
We used yellow as the main color, as it was not used in the health area in the Brazilian scenario and would give us more property and easy recognition, the idea is to always have three color themes, one in yellow, another in white, and one in black. We created a proprietary illustration pattern that reflects Brazilian diversity and the real life of people and their daily lives.
The end result is a visual identity that mixes the tech and health concepts, thus bringing versatility in its application in addition to being timeless.
